Here is my upgraded G3, Powermac 6200cd and Ipod 15gb. The G3 is a network server now, and I VNC into it with my other computers on the network.

How does your B/W G3 work as a server? I'm thinking of turn my B/W G3 into a server to. Do you got any tips for me?

The box works well

I have mirrored 160 GB drives, and I use the system to share Itunes music, and any Video work I do on the G4 or G5 computers. It also runs Folding@home so the CPU has something to do besides waiting for me to copy files back and fourth.

The box works great, and is really quite stable. Since I don't do much on the desktop I simply use VNC to connect to it for any work I need done. The uptime on it currently is about 1.5 months, with considerable amount of use with synching the iPod, and streaming music to about 3 other comptuers on my home network, and 1 neighbor that connects VIA WIFI (gotta love townhomes and bridged wifi networks :)

I get stressed about cables... the Apple keyboard needs to be freed!!! grr it annoys me..

The tiger on background has NOTHING to do with OS X Tiger. I've had a tiger as my back drop since I had a GUI (7 yrs old - now 18)) it changes whenever it feels tired. He protects my comp ;) .

Here it is!
