Dear Mac users, I downloaded a desktop program from the Apple website called POWDER. I installed the desktop, and tried it out. I didn't really like the way worked because there weren't many options for backgrounds. I ended up deleting the file and it's contents, but the powder option still remained when I opened up the desktop/screensaver preferences. Does anyone know of a way to delete this as an option? Thanks for any assistance. C.S.

Look in

/Library/Screen Savers

or in

~/Library/Screen Savers/

It should be in one of those. Delete the file and you will be clear.

Alset, thanks for the reply. However, I couldnt find the file in that location. Maybe there is another way to delete the option from the preferences. All of the files have been deleted, so it shouldnt be there anyway. i had a screensaver that i deleted, and the option dissappeared from preferences, so this desktop option should have as well. i have contacted the distributer and im waiting on a reply. thats what the apple techs told me to do.
