Hi all!
I bought a PowerMac MDD 1GHz from eBay. It had a broken Power Supply so i replaced it and now the fans start to spin again but there is no startup chime. Also the red LED on the Logicboard is lights up. I looked at the Logicboard and found out that there is a capacitor missing near the airport connector at the edge of the board. I think it was completely blown off the board, or the person i got the mac from just accidently ripped it off. it really was there because the soldering points are damaged.
The Label for the capacitor is C3953.
Could anyone look inside a similar powermac and tell me what kind of capacitor this is?
i can take a picture if needed.
