Hey guys, haven't been involved with the forums in a while, I have a situation I could use some help with.

I have a friend who is giving his sister an iPad for graduation and he wants to pre-load the thing with about $50-75 of apps for her to get started. I told him he would run into trouble with this as when she wanted to sync the iPad with her MacBook, it would request to be erased before she could sync as the apps would have been bought with his iTunes account.

What do you think, is this correct? Is there any way around this situation?

A very nice thing for him to do, but I'd rather open and discover my iPad myself. I'm nerdy like that, though.

I agree, just give it to her sealed and then buy Itunes gift cards! I would LOVE that...great brother!!!

I loaded my girls iPad up so she could get stuck in and say wow without navigating the crap organized app store!
