Is there a similar application to Preview's Signature Capture that generates digital copies (with a fair bit of image processing) of handwritten text/drawings?
Signature Capture is only useful for small regions (signature sized), but I really like the resulting digitization. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything similar to it available online. Everything I search turns up text OCR applications which is not what I'm looking for. I have no interest in OCR, just something similar to Signature Capture as far as showing the camera text on white paper and the clean digitization it produces.
If no application like this exists, is there any way to access the relevant Preview source code to modify it?
