Obviously you're not a golfer.
i am having a really hard time figuring this out. i need to run an extention cord + power strip in my girlfriend's apartment from one room to another so that the fuse does not get overloaded and i am having a heck of a time figuring out what i need by way of an extention cord (she already has a decent surge protector)

most of the "heavy duty" extension cords are rated at 15 Amps. i am trying to figure out what average peripherals like a scanner, printer, etc. pull in terms of amps to make sure i do not get over 15. she has

macbook pro 15"
letter-size flatbed scanner
3 external firewire hard drives
20" aluminum cinema display
letter-size laser printer (HP)
letter-size canon inkjet
wide format epson inkjet (1280)

note: i know exactly diddly about electrical type stuff so i have no clue if this is even something i should be worrying about. thanks for any help, i do not want to either a) blow a fuse which is in the basement which means yours truly will be getting the 3AM call to come change it or b) start a fire.
