iPad Problem downloading Iphone Apps on Ipad since IOS9

Ok i'll try to explain my issue

The issue is looking for Iphone only apps on Ipad

Back in IOS 8 if searched for an app that didn't had an Ipad version I had the option on top to switch to Iphone only, which made the app appear

Now that bar is 'gone' If i wanna make that bar appear I have to

1) search for an app that doesn't exist
2) Then search for my app i want
3) Switch to iphone only

(step 2 and 3 can be done in any order)

But if between step 1 and 2 I search for any app that exist, the bar on top will never appear

It's kinda annoying
