Hi,
I've just installed Panther on my G4 powerbook, and I don't have the OSX software for my Epson 1290 printer, the cd is only for OS9.2. So I downloaded the software from the Epson site and installed it. When I tried printing it says no printer is installed. I reinstalled the driver software tis time in the applications folder rather than the desktop and after a supposedly succesful installation, when i come to print, it still says no printers are available. I have another printer an Epson C64, which comes with OSX software. I installed that successfully but still it states in printer utilities/setup that no printer is available. I did not have this problem with OSX (10.2), everything worked fine before using the same process. So what am I doing wrong now?
I'd be grateful for any help.
John
