Hi, new here--apologies if this has been dealt with a lot before, I looked through recent threads and couldn't find anything.
I am trying to use MPEGStreamclip to clip .avi files for use in Final Cut Express. I bought the MPEG-2 component from Apple, because apparently you need that to work with avi files, and tried installing it twice, but I can't tell if it's actually installed correctly--I can't find it anywhere. When I try and save an .avi file in MPEGStreamClip, it says it can't write the movie file. I can save in other formats, just not .avi. Help?
