iPhone Problem with CarPlay after upgrade

Upgraded to GM edition today and now CarPlay refuses to play audio from the car speakers. All audio comes from the phone no matter what I do. I am using a cable to connect. Is this a known issue?

I have been using the iOS 11 GM with CarPlay via USB cable and audio plays back just fine through the car speakers. Using iPhone 7 via Pioneer App Radio 4 aftermarket model.
