Trying to reinstall Mavericks and the install fails with this message..

When I go to the App Store, the App I want "Install OS X Mavericks" shows as "Downloaded" and is greyed out. So is there no way for me to re-download it?

It usually shows that "Downloaded" when you already have a copy of the installer on your computer somewhere. If you have the Mavericks installer any where on your drive or even on a connected external drive it will show that Downloaded and prevent the download.

Thanks for the comeback. I finally woke up and read the message, the part where it said to delete the existing copy, then go to the App store for a re-download. (duh!)
