Hello everyone
I hope to find more information in this forum: D

I present the problem
Macbook pro early 2015 13'' , I take a hit, after a few minutes turn off the screen and no longer starts.
the backlight worked, and even the mac itself (connected in hdmi with another screen worked perfectly)
then I open the case, I see all the connections and the mac worked again well

I NOTE however that the trackpad no longer gives me the "Click"
I think it's a slightly deformed alluminium case, but I also note a broken and interrupted cable (SEE PHOTO)

Can you tell me what this cable was?
if there is a way to repair the Click?
what is the name of this component in case I want to replace it?

thank you so much
Phabius

Take a close look at the batteries. They swell as they age and are part of the same glued assembly containing the battery, trackpad, keyboard, and the Al top case where your hand rest.

Also, check the cycle count on the batteries. Here how you do that, https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201585

Sorry, I missed the impact in your first message.

Don't know about getting the cable. Have you tried iFixit? Looks like they have a cable, https://www.ifixit.com/Store/Mac/MacBook-Pro-13-Inch-Retina-Early-2015-Trackpad-Cable/IF123-130?o=1

Sorry I have no idea about the cable. You might send a message to iFixit and see if they can track it down.
