I used to use rEFInd as a boot loader, but with the upgrade to Big Sur there have apparently been changes to the firmware that interferes with rEFInd's operation. So I am back to holding down the option key. Yay. <--(sarcasm)

If I tried to boot normally, rEFInd should kick in and take me to it's boot screen. But instead my MBP boots directly to Boot Camp (Windows 10). If I hold down the option key, I get the default macOS boot loader and that is the only way I can boot into macOS.

But both OS will boot with no issues. System Preferences on the macOS show only Big Sur as the sole startup disk - the only disk available that is shown. But again, rebooting without holding down the option key boots right into Windows 10.

Were there any changes made to firmware for Big Sur that anyone know about? It would explain why rEFInd is broken, at least.
