Under the System Prefs I selected the link that lets me chose my photo's from iPhoto library. It crashes the application and won't let me get back into the desktop and backgrounds. Not too big of an issue. But... I can't connect to any computers on my network. The names show up, but when I click on the shortcut of the computer's name, I get an error "The alias <computer name> could not be opened because the original cannot be found."

Any help would be appreciated.

If IP addresses have changed you will sometimes get a message like that.

i figured out the network problem. thanks, and I solved the system pref problem by moving my photos to another folder temporarily. Other then that, Panther is great :)
