Anyone had any experience running Project Cars on a nMP (2013 Mac Pro)

I didn't get the graphics card upgrade so it has whatever the standard card is. Not got either PS4 or Xbox One and don't really want to buy either for 1 game.

Also interested to know how well it will run on a cMP with a 680GTX 4GB.

Thanks

I've bought it and got it working on D300

Getting 50fps running beta drivers and crossfire @1920x1080 with most settings on max.
When it rains it dips to 30-40fps

Runs really well

Not bad at all. Are you using Apple's beta drivers or the ones from AMD ?

I'm using AMD beta drivers. The latest ones. 15.4 I think. I followed a guide on this forum.

I'm not that familiar with AMD but I don't seem to have anything app called catalyst that I can find.

MSI afterburner only seems to be able to report GPU 2 with the on-screen display but disabling crossfire I get around 30fps so it must be using both cards. It certainly gets a lot hotter and the fans spin up with crossfire enabled too.

Yeah, I had this issue too with afterburner. However, in my case it was not a bug but an afterburner setting that by default is configured to monitor only one of the GPUs. I just can't remember exactly where it was. I'm sure it was accessible by bringing up the afterburner UI though.

Has anybody tried it on the late 2013 iMac 27" base-version? GT755M 1GB.

I'm very interested in getting this to work. I have an Xbox One but unfortunately I don't see myself playing this game without a proper wheel. Problem is there are no good wheels for Xbox. I have a Logitech G27 which is not supported on either Xbox or PS4, but is supported in Windows. Hence why I want to play it on my iMac in Windows.

So if anybody has any experience of Project Cars on this machine, please let me know!

I run it on a maxed out late 2013 27 '' iMac on native res with all settings topped out and it's smooth as butter. I did have to turn down motion blur though because it was giving me motion sickness.

I have the Thrustmaster TX 458 for the Xbox One (and pc), and it is a great wheel. Also, coming soon... http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g920-driving-force?wt.ac=g920 The Logitech G920. ;)

The game runs really well on my Late 2012 iMac. GTX680MX (2GB)...

I ran it on my old Mac Pro (2010) with:

Quad Core Xeon 2.8
32GB Memory
HD 5850 1GB GPU
Samsung SSD

Got a smooth 60fps with medium settings, had to turn off particles and shadows. I've since built a game PC for my game room where I have my racing stuff setup.
