Well, now that I am back in college I need proxies for my web browsers and whatnot. Eventually, I got them working fine but I have still been unable to figure out why my folding client cannot connect to the network. Doesn't work w/o a proxy and (disclaimer: I am fairly ignorant about this topic and may be about to say something stupid) so I'm wondering...does the client need a special port? One different from the web browsers? I'm assuming the general proxy should be the same for both. Any hints or ideas?
