Does the PS3 come with a SCART output or I'll have to buy one of these? I mean is the console bundled with a SCART output? Why is there an audio output as well? Won't it just work connecting the SCART cable or I'll no audio if I don't connect the audio cables?

The 360 came with a SCART converter or something. Where one side is SCART and the other component. Is that the same case with the PS3 as well?

At least in the US the PS3 only comes with a standard composite cable just like the PS2. Of course, things may be different in Europe, I don't know...

my ps3 in UK came with the same as the PS2 did. Power cable, video cable with left/right audio and video, and that came with a scart adapter. And it came with an ethernet cable and USB to mini usb cable, but those didnt come with the ps2.
