I fly to Japan in December and I want buy MBP 16 with additional memory. Unfortunately in the Apple store in Osaka i can buy only standard configuration. Friend gave me advice buy MBP with 32GB in online store and pickup it from store in city. I checked online store and i have to pay price with additional tax.
Now question: Can i get tax free in airport, if i pay for the purchase online now?
Staff from the store can probably refuse the issuance of documents for tax free, because I paid not in their country.
Can anyone suggest how things really are?
