Hi All,
I just connected my iPhone 13 PM to my macOS 11.6 system. Syncing/backing up seems to work, but instead of the icon for my phone I see a little document icon in the Finder side bar. The phone icon at the top shows a big question mark. Anyone else seeing this? Seems like a small thing, but I have never seen Apple miss a detail like this so wondering if something is wrong with my system. Thanks.

The secretive culture at Apple means they can’t include references to a new product until after it has been announced. 11.6 was released a day before the announcement. Will likely be fixed in a future MacOS update.

I noticed there’s a new “Device Support Update” in Software Update on MacOS which should take care of this. Surprised it wasn’t pushed before the new devices were launched though.
