Hi there, I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and traded in my iPhone X on pre-order day. I purchased my iPhone 13 Pro Max from the Apple online store on Friday, September 17.

I have always used AT&T, and I and specifically chose to trade in on Apple’s website with AT&T in order to get the $800 carrier bill credits over 36 months.

I know Apple gives $200 for iPhone X if you trade in through Apple.

I got confirmation from AT&T about the $800 trade-in bill credits. However, last week, I also got an email from Apple directly with a gift card worth $200, saying that’s my trade-in gift. I cashed the gift card and it’s now in my Apple Account Balance.

My question: when you trade in through Apple’s website but select AT&T special 36-month deal, was I supposed to get BOTH the bill credits on my monthly AT&T bill AND the Apple Store gift card, as I did?
