For more than a year, I've been using Quicktime Pro and the DivX plugin for Mac from divx.com to convert DivX avi videos to DV, which I then use in Compressor and DVD Studio Pro to make DVDs.
Recently I reinstalled my system right from scratch (from the Tiger) DVD and updated everything to 10.4.5, Quicktime 7.0.4, and DivX6.
Now whenever I try and export a DivX to DV, it chugs away with the progress bar for as long as it normally does, then it just says "Failed (-50)".
I've reinstalled DivX, but the problem remains. This is a major issue as I need this for work.
Anybody have any idea?
