So I want to use QuickTime player on my PowerBook to rrcord.video and audio from a 10.5 compatible VGA capture card. But, in Leopard, you need to have QuickTime Pro to record video. What other alternatives are there that I can download and use to record video? I might just use a newer Mac but thought it'd be cool to use an old Mac.

Thanks for the thread! Will VLC 2.0.8 (I just added a link to it on that thread) or an old version of iMovie work? There's a lot of apps so not sure what to download.

Then just use QT7Pro

You cannot buy it anymore, if you click buy license in QT7 it comes up with a dead link.
If you bought it many years back, it still works today.

But you have to pay for that, correct? I was looking for a free solution, but maybe QuickTime Pro is free
You didn't visit that linked adress at m'garden
and scroll down the page to read the full description about how to convert QT7 into the Pro-version, did you?

Thanks!
I will do this. I think I have 7.5.5 because I wanted to use iTunes so I downloaded 7.5.5 from somewhere (I forget)
