I remember when getting 128meg of RAM for my first computer (PowerComputing Power Tower Pro - Mac Clone) cost a ton - almost as much as the machine itself. I'm thinking about this since I paid a lot less recently for 8 Gigs for my Quad.

Has anyone here bought a 2 Gig RAM card - and why are they so much more expensive?

Apple RAM prices don't count ;)
