Resolved Ram Uprgrade / any other recommended upgrades

Just bought a 17" MBP 2.2 with a 128gb SSD, anti glare screen, and I want to upgrade the RAM. i need suggestions. I won't be able to even open my MBP until October when i come home (that's where i shipped it) so the same goes for my upgrades. any other upgrades/ideas to better overall performance or just for fun would be nice. It's not about what i do with it, its how i want it. I work hard, Play harder.

a 5400rpm hard drive is a serious bottleneck for any kind of usage.

I recommend upgrading to SSD, Seagate Hybrid drive or WD Black 750GB.

Maybe in October a 1TB 7200rpm drive will be released by then.

Get a Corsair's 1333MHz 8GB 2-204pin 2x4GB RAM. I've installed that on my current machine, and it made it blazing fast.

what specific kinds of memory can i get if it comes with 4GB 1333MHz DDR3? my guess is 8gb 1333mhz ddr3 but theres a lot of other different options that i have no clue of. i'd rather not go too cheap because i have a decent amount i can spend to get the good stuff.

Buying more expensive RAM really won't do you a whole lot of good, you just need 1333MHz DDR3 204-pin memory, and you'll need two 4GB sticks for an 8GB upgrade. Also, do yourself a favor and don't buy memory labeled "for Mac" or "apple-compatible" or anything like that. They aren't any more compatible with your system, they are simply more expensive to take advantage of people that don't know any better.
