Reasonably priced monitor to pair with Air?

I have some heavy duty text editing to do with my AIR, and it would be useful to have a second screen. Anyone have a recs for a reasonably priced 17-22 inch monitor to sit on a desk alongside the air? I do not need a huge cinema display, and graphics quality is not important.

cheap, 1080p, HDMI, along with DVI and VGA. Also it has speakers but I've never used them. It did come with one stuck pixel though, other than that it's been pretty good so far.

I generally only endorse Dell monitors unless you can afford an Apple one. Dell monitors are well built, reliable and have good resale value and they're also at a good price point.

I have a dell 24 inch 1080p monitor that I love! Goes with my air an a thin apple wireless keyboard. Like you I do text editing, writing my thesis to be exact and its perfect for that. That and it also doubles up as a media player and a ps3 monitor. best 220 I spent on ebay.
