I do have an external hard drive, and an OWC Dock, and two Dell displays plugged in. Also two headphone amps/DAC combos. Only one on at a time. Note the power warning window opened up when I only had one headphone amp. in the chain.
All of these devices are powered by an AC outlet. So why the warnings? I wonder if the overall culprit is the dock that allows so many devices to be added to the chain. But the dock has its own AC power.
