We recently got an Apple Watch SE for our son and we put a case on it to keep it protected. We had an old charging stand lying around, ran the charging cable through it and started to use it to charge his watch. But the thickness of the case and the slightly recessed cable in the dock didn't play well together, contact between the watch and the charger was light and the watch would barely charge.
Has anyone had any luck with a charging base that works well for an Apple Watch with a case on it? We only need something for the watch, there's no need for one of those multi-device charging stations. TIA!
