iPhone Recommended app to use Airplay

I have a projector with a collection of movies on my Airport Extreme. The majority of movies play just fine on the projector or on my Airplay enabled LG TV. However, some movies do not play and my iphone 12 gives me a choice to select various Players such as AVPlayer, GoodPlayer, OutPlayer etc. If I use one of these players then the movie plays fine on my iPhone but I cannot cast this movie to Airplay to my Projector or to my TV. These movies have an extension called ".mkv" while the majority of movies are having ".mp4" extension. Help me resolve this problem. If I need to purchase a player then please suggest to a good player which will play such movies on Airplay.
