Is there a way to use the recording/screen recording option including mic input? In other words record video conversations with both sides' audio included?

While on FaceTime, turn on the screen record.. see what happens.. screen recording does have mic option.. long press/3D touch on it..

I just noticed that when you turn the mic on it just records the mic input and not both sounds. So it doesn't really work...

This likely isn't allowed (especially during calls) due to wire-tapping laws.
I know here in Florida, both parties must be aware of the recording.

I don’t think the mic can record the speakers voice..

No, it doesn't. I was hoping to record the whole conversation, but it seems that you can only choose to record either the incoming voice or the mic, but not a mix of both.
