iPhone XS Max Regarding new iPhone XS Max Sim Cards

Hey all,

I have taken the plunge and jumped from my Note 9 to an iPhone Max to try out.

In regards to the Dual sim, I understand the Australian Model uses an eSim, which no one here supports.

I have taken a torch and looked inside the port, it does have the support pins for 2 sim cards.

That it could possible work with both sims?

True. I wasn't trying to be pedantic - if he can get a chinese version of the phone he should be ok.

Please stop wasting time. If it supported two physical SIMs, don’t you think Apple would have included the SIM tray?

Because illuminating the sim socket shows 2 contact sets. 1 on either side.

It would be a good experiment if you can physically test it but let us know if you can prove it with the dual sim tray

Yea will do, its on order, just takes forever to come from China, no clue why.

The second set are not contacts. They are retention points to keep the SIM card from moving.

I’m very interested in this as I have been unable to find an eSim off contract.
