I have an AirTag that somehow is not in Find My database. I have a BUNCH of these.

The iPhone finds it by NFC with an identified serial number and my phone # with a Safari web page.

Find My is clueless and does not pick it up with "Identify..."

Any idea of how to recover this? I put in a new battery. Find My should pick it up the same way it is found via NFC notification.

Tried a RESET (repower removing battery 5x) and it does not change anything.

“Identify Found Item” does not show your own AirTags that are at home/with you. Even if someone else tried to ”Identify” them while you were around, they still wouldn’t show up. The AirTag has to be away from its owner for some before it will show up here.

You should be all set as long as the NFC notification is working and the AirTags are shown on the map.
