Running yosemite 10.10.2 and right clicking on dock icons and hovering over options the only choices are "open at login" and "Show in finder". The "Remove from Dock" option is not there and icons cannot be rearranged or drug off. I deleted the com.apple.dock.plist file and nothing changed, it did not revert. Any ideas?

Mevermind, I got it. Deleting the com.apple.dock file did nothing and it would rebuild the file on logout and in or reboot. I had no way to add an icon or delete one too see if a change would do it. I tried a terminal command earlier that did nothing but relaunch the dock and it came back the same. It was:

defaults delete com.apple.dock

and

killall Dock

It came back stock with everything working. I had just done a clean install today.:(
