When you opened Disk Utility it displays your disk in two parts, im not sure what there called. Mine in particular says:

1 - 55.9 GB Toshiba
2 - Machintosh HDD

In Jaguar you were only able to repair permissions on on one of them.

Panther, you are now able to repair permissions on both of them. Is there any difference? Should I repair both of them when neccessary?
