For whatever reason, late last night my Mac decided it wants to crash every couple hours for reasons completely unbeknownst to me. Can someone please take a look at the system problem report and let me know what the probably cause might be? I am running Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4. I really appreciate any help I can get at this point!

I see you are running Dropbox and a Promise external drive. I would remove both Dropbox and the Promise drivers and see if the crashes stop. Maybe wait a day or so and then start adding in, one at a time, to see if those might be the cause of the crashing.

Also, see if there is any updates available from Promise.

There are threads on here where many people, especially 16" MBP owners, are getting regular crashes on Catalina. It seems to happen each time the computer sleeps.

The OP is using a 2015 27” iMac.

Wow that's a tall order to uninstall both Dropbox and my Promise (external HD) drivers. Between those two things, that's pretty much all of the important data on my computer that I use daily!

Strangely enough, it does seem that these crashes are happening when the computer goes to sleep. None of the crashes I've experienced have happened while I've been sitting at my computer actively using it. I'll take a look at those threads you mentioned to see if I can't come up with any insights.

Anyone else have any suggestions or ideas? Anything else worth noting in the details of the system problem report?

I'm having the same problem when my 16" Macbook goes to sleep.

Configuration
2,3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9
64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 4 GB
Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
external LG 34UM94 Monitor
external Keyboard
external Mouse
USBC->HDMI Adaptor for the monitor. USBC->HDMI Adaptor

After updating to 10.15.5 (19F101) each time I want to wake it up it was crashed with kernel panic.

It seems as if I could solve it:
I removed the Monitor from the HDMI-Adaptor and plugged it to an USBC to Thunderbolt adaptor from Apple.
Now the LG is connected to Thunderbolt not HDMI, with a nice side effect: I can adjust the volume from the Keyboard now.

Maybe this helps someone.

P.S.
Disabling PowerNap, HDD Sleep did not make any difference on my system.

The sleep/crash issues is driving me nuts. No, seriously. My workflow is enough of a challenge without having to repeatedly reboot this MBP. (Yes, have followed every remedial step offered here and in the Apple Support Forums, yet none have provided lasting relief.)

Apple support acknowledges the problem, says it's probably software not hardware, says I'm not the only one reporting it, and offers that there is no fix. Further, I've been told that they are looking into it. Hm… They advise waiting for the next update. Or, I suppose, the one after, or the one after...

I just had the same recurring kernel panics ("AppleAHCIDiskQueueManager::setPowerState(0xffffff99dd5e7b40 : 0xffffff8002fadcf0, 3 -> 0) timed out after 100569 ms @IOServicePM.cpp:5524") multiple times on a cPM 5,1 and I blamed software, but it was actually my Crucial 4TB NVMe SSD (main OS Drive).
After kernel panics resuming from sleep for about a month, one time I powered off and restarted and the NVMe SSD was GONE! Could not bring it back so I did an RMA with Crucial and got a new one. Had great wake from sleep since then with just one kernel panic that was unrelated to "AppleAHCIDiskQueueManager::setPowerState", so yeah, a bad NVMe SSD will do this!
