Does anyone know at what exact time does the ‘Reserve at Store/ Pickup in Store’ option become available on Apple.com?
I am based in the UK and would like to order a standard MBP14 config and pickup same day - i.e. on 26 itself.

Anyone know if it is 12 am or 6am or 8am - I have been reading the forums and all these times have been mentioned. Anyone know for sure?

I don't think anyone knows for sure. Safest bet would be trying at 00:00, 05:00 and 07:00 onwards. Probably 5AM for option enabled on Apple.com, but after that, when will each store update its stock may not have a fixed time.

Not 00:00 :p

EDIT: I'm trading in my 'old' MacBook and backing up the last 10GBs of data is taking *forever* so maybe I'll end up checking every five minutes all night either way.

EDIT 2: Not 01:00 either...

worst case scenario if you really want one this week is you visit the Apple store tomorrow morning and ask if they have any in stock. It's often the case that in store stock does not appear on the site for pickup.

I’m planning on doing that too… Thanks.

Ordered mine at 7:01 am…. But there is no option to Reserve and Pay at Store. Had to Pay and select Pickup in Store.
With iPhones, there is an option to Reserve in Store….. but not for Macs.

Anyway, ordered for pickup today !

Same here! My shipping order was stuck in limbo with no progress since placing the order even though it was supposed to come between today and November 3rd so I woke up at 6:15 am this morning and placed another order with pick up later today :) cannot wait, coming from a rMBP 2012. I love setting up things as NEW

There was plenty of stock here [Spain]. People were able to come into the store and pick up one of the new MacBook Pros without even buying it first on the Apple Store.

Went to store at Opening time. Only about 5 people in the queue. Managed to pick one up straight away (and then cancelled my original order). ?

Did they only have the "base" models, or multiple configs available?

When the online store opened, all base configs were available (2 14" and 3 16" configs), in all colors, at my nearest Apple Store. But I don't know about custom ones.

Was able to just order a pretty much maxed out 14 inch for in store pickup. 16/32 core, 64 Gb, 2Tb in the US
Nice. That config is available here too. I wish they had the 1TB version available here in-store. I ordered a 32GB / 1TB but would be open to swapping for the 64GB. I don't need 2TB however and don't want to pay the upcharge
