Hi!

I'm preparing an iMac late 2013 for sale and want to make sure I've deleted everything. I'm not very familiar with Mac at all. This iMac has been used with an appleID and was populated with iCloud files (and probably some local ones too?).

I followed this guide from Apple on how to prepare a Mac for sale (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201065). At step 3 it wouldn't log out of iTunes. I clicked the 'sign out' button, but it got stuck on the 'spinning wheel' icon and nothing happened. I eventually skipped that step and moved onto step 6 and 7 (erase and reinstall). I was surprised by how quickly these steps completed.

It seems to have erased the files and there is no automatic suggestion on apple id when I open iTunes. But how can I verify that all data and log in info has been removed? Is there a way to check certain registries or anything like that on Mac?

Thanks, any input is highly appreciated :)
