Hello, Help please!
I was using my computer normally, signing up for a newsletter when it was taking too long to think. I got the thinking Pie/pinwheel for over 2 minutes.
then the screen went grey, then black but I could see the mouse moving on the black when I tried it. Now it shows Mac OS Utilities. I do t want any of those 4 options.
can I just go to the Apple menu in top left & choose restart?
im not sure what prompted this.
I do have a Seagate Backup drive plugged in, so some things are saved. Not certain I have it set up as the actual “Time Machine” though.
Originally this was a Mountain Lion version but I’ve done so many updates, that I think it may be a Sierra OS now.
I can’t get any more info off the computer at this time.
