Restore question

I want to remove the 'recents' (perhaps known as Auto Fill, what shows up when you start to type in an email address) on an iPad. Within mail the only option is to erase one at a time.

If I either:
Reset All Settings
OR
Erase All Content and Settings

and then Restore from a backup, will the 'recents' return (from the backup)?

Or perhaps the Reset All Settings will remove all the 'recents'?

It will be reset as Reset All Settings as long as you don't have the email messages still present (otherwise they will get reindexed)
