My granddaughter has a Macbook Pro M1 cpu. What going on with it she was going to trade it in for a New one she restore the Mac. Now it won't turn on it like it dead. Can some one help her to try and fix it and if you can you can tell me then I can tell her.

Press & hold Touch ID for 15 seconds & let go. Then it will probably turn on.

If it doesn’t, likely needs a firmware restore that the Apple Store can handle during trade-in.

She gave it to me and bought another Mac.

I had it check out and the video went bad on the motherboard so I need to buy a motherboard. I will try and find a good used one. The model is A2141 with 16gb memory and a 512 SSD.
