You *must* have complete experience with writing XML/RSS feeds by hand. Also, you'll need to have experience with iTunes RSS tags and the Yahoo Media Extensions for RSS.
The task is basically to create a brand new XML feed and merge it with an older feed while removing extra unwanted mess, therefore optimizing the feed and reducing the filesize. Your job will also be to make sure the feeds migrate accross properly and nobody is left with a feed that doesn't work.
