Is it possible to do something based on the state of a particular AppleTV in the home?

What I would like to do is in my theater, if I play a movie on AppleTV, to automatically close the shades. I have this setup in Home Assistant now, it's able to detect the AppleTV state, however my issue is the shades, while they kind of work in Home Assistant they often go offline and Home Assistant has a limit to the number of BT devices per BT dongles (I think it's only 4 or 5 per dongle). However, my shades are Eve Motion Shades and are fully compatible in Homekit. So I was hoping to move this automation in to Homekit.

Perhaps you could create a dummy device that home assistant would toggle when the AppleTV is in the state you want, then have HomeKit run an automation based on the state of that dummy switch.
