iPad Running iOS 9 - No New Notes App

I'm using iOS 9 but I still see the old version of Notes. Any ideas on what may be going on ?

I don't know if it's the same as on the iPhone, but when I opened the Notes app, I had to accept the new version first.

In the upper right corner of the notes app you'll need to tap on "upgrade".

Because Mac OS has not been updated to El Capitan yet, the new notes app will not sync with the Mac notes. Therefore, Apple is giving us a period to delay the notes update until El Capitan is release.

I'm excited about the new notes.app, but I will not upgrade to it until my notes can sync with my Mac (Sept 30th).

I would open app switcher and close all apps. Then do a soft reset (hold home button and wake/sleep button until Apple logo appears) and then check it again.

Very frustrating Apple...
