Is anyone else having this issue? My Watch was put on at 4a and dead by 3p when it’s usually only at 50% by then. Today wasn’t the first time it’s happened; it’s been noticeably quick to drain over about the last week.

I found this thread that links it’s to iOS 17.4.1 but that seems odd given there was no Apple Watch software update to match.

My S9 doesn’t seem that good anyway, will last a day but when I stream radio for 45mins on cellular walking my dog it drains fast and won’t make a day.
Sold my ultra 1 for same price I got a new S9 cellular for.
One of life’s regrets lol.

I have the same issue but on a S8. Suddenly my battery life is dying very quickly and not getting me through the day. On WatchOS 10.4.

This started happening to mine today. The battery percentage goes down a point almost every minute until it dies. I’ve rebooted my watch and my phone.

My wife’s S9 was having that issue about two weeks ago– we turned off walkie talkie on it and updated to the latest watchOS and that seemed to fix it.

Now mine started doing the same thing today, got the low battery notification at around 3pm, when it normally has well over 50% battery at that time. I’m on the latest OS on both the watch and the phone, and walkie talkie was already off.

This happened to my S9. I was very annoyed because it died 1 hour into a half marathon recently. I was able to fix my issue though.

I tried several things like reboot, offloading third party apps etc, but only unpairing and then re-pairing worked. It was mostly seamless as an auto back up is made when unpairing. I had to reload my music and playlists though. Hope this helps!

Mine is doing the same thing. Drains really fast and I haven't been working out because of my newborn. I have to charge my watch twice a day.

I’ve only had it on for about 4 hours today and it’s already at 53%. Dipped 2% from when I opened the battery screen on the Watch, went to my phone to enable screenshots on the Watch, and went back to the Watch to take the screenshot. Down another % in the time it took me to type this post.

Rebooted both my phone and the watch last night to no avail. I’ll try unpairing and re-pairing the Watch as suggested above.

Unpairing and re-pairing seems to have done the trick for me. Thanks!

My Ultra 1 with latest OS has suddenly started to run out of battery early evening. Down from 100% at 8 am to 10 % at 7 PM. It is usually at around 75% or so at that time. I have not changed anything so I am thinking that the latest OS update has broken the watch. I have stopped using the watch.
