Safari/chrome crash together randomly

Hello

After getting new RAM, Hard drive, and battery I have my macbook pro working again.

I am currently using 10.8.5 OS X, 6.2.8 Safari, 49.0.2623.112 Chrome, with the following spec macbook Pro

8GB RAM - brand new
2.53GHz Intel core 2 duo


So, every 20-40 minutes - not seen a real pattern yet, my macbook will shut down and reboot both safari and chrome together. Both restart same times, and shut down same times. What do I do? is it something to do with my new RAM?
