I’m having what I think is a really weird issue I don’t see mentioned anywhere else.

Google searches and just random links often will get a black border and then safari freezes 100% of the time.

I’m thinking it’s something specific - setting or something. Has anyone seen anything like this or any idea what it might be? I’ve provided Apple a big report obviously.

I’m sure you’ve already tried a hard restart, but if not, I’d give that a go first.

That seems to be the same outline you’d get as you 3D Touch a link......though obviously it wouldn’t normally be in black.

I don’t know why it’d have anything to do with this happening randomly and freezing, but try switching off 3D Touch just out of interest and see if it still happens.

I have experienced similar on PB1. For me it’s just a temporary freeze though. Reselecting the link seems to work.

This has happened to me once since I installed PB1 (which was soon after launch).

Coincidentally it happened about 10 minutes ago.

So it definitely seems random - though more often with Google links.

It happened this last time and I just decided to wait it out. It was a few minutes later it unfroze and gave me a pop up menu. So perhaps something with pop up menu generation is freezing. I might check the console log.
