Safari - Google Drive - Too Many Redirects

I'm running latest OS.

For the past month or so, this weird thing started happening. Every time I try to download something from Google Drive, there are too many redirects ending in "Safari can't open the page".

I tried deleting site data from 'Manage Website Data'. But next day the issue comes back.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I had to delete all the cookies from Google and it fixed this issue for me. It was highly annoying.
