iPad Safari Screenshots “full page” may not be the true full page

Recently, I want to save a very long WIRED article by taking a screenshot. We know that there is an option called “Full Page” when taking screenshots in Safari. Well, for this article, the “Full Page” ends up being a truncated version with the last bit missing.

The attached PDF (Apple does not allow me to save it as an image) is what‘s been captured.

This one is what it actually ends in ”Full Page” mode.

My guess is, maybe this feature has innate limitations that Apple does not tell on stage. This is one of those.

Anyone notice this?

I tried this using Federico Viticci's iOS 13 review https://www.macstories.net/stories/ios-and-ipados-13-the-macstories-review/ (great read by the way...just be sure to allot about 5 hours to reading it [and I’m not kidding!]). Each page of the review is quite long, making it a good candidate to check your hypothesis.

Same behavior as what you found. I’m guessing there is an upper bound memory limit on this.
