Have they removed tapping the top of Safari to take you to the top of the page or?

EDIT: Just to clarify, this is on the iPad Mini 6 that I have noticed this.

My M1 iPad Pro is experiencing this intermittently since the update to iPadOS 17. A restart hasn’t helped. It seems particularly egregious on Mac rumors forums…

DFU restore didn’t clear it for me. I’m going to delete all safari website data to see if there is something messing it up.

Update: Setting the iPad up as new seems to have resolved the issue.

The behavior was still present under iPadOS 17.0.2. I wound up performing a DFU restore, and DID NOT restore my backup this time. It’s a bit of work to get everything back the way it was, but having everything enabled in iCloud sync does help.

When was this added? It works on my iPad Air 5 on iPadOS 15, and on my iPhone Xʀ on iOS 12.

I have the same issue on iPad Mini 5.
It seems to work sometimes. Pretty annoying since I’m used to press there to go to top.

I spoke too soon. After all that work, the problem has returned.

Yes, I was so glad 😀 for the bug fix but sadly 😢 it still malfunctions after some use. The good is that it confirms that Apple is working on a fully working bug fix, it just will take some time.

Still a problem for me after the most recent update. If I restart Safari it works for a while but not for long.
