I have used Loopback for online teaching and confering to route mic/multiple apps into one audio device for zoom and skype for 2 years now. And i am sure that Way back then i did the reduced securty step to install Ace although i cant remember. but apparently its required since M1. Anyway, i reformatted my mac and im installing everything again and when installing Loopback it asks to do the reduced security step obviously again since its a fresh macos Monterey install. But it got me think, is it safe to do this? Rogue amoeba says its not an actual Kernel Extension but system wide audio stuff still requires the reduced security step.

ive read around that rogue amoeba has been very trusted for more than 10 years. what do you think?

I can't get black hole to do what i want and frankly i rely on Loopback for work.
