These devices are great… Anker is a good brand.

But im always nervous of very high capacity power banks… if they fail.. thats a lot of energy to release ☹️

They need to be stored some place safe.

Jackery makes good stuff in my experience. I have an Explorer 500 for backup in case of power failure, have used it a couple times to run a MBP, external monitor and 5G hotspot/router and it performed great for hours.

They are definitely good. I have Allpowers 300 watt. Although I rarely use it, when there are power outages it comes very handy.

As for the storage, I just keep it away from any humidity.

Larger capacity batteries usually have longer lifespan due to increased charge-discharge cycles

Yeah, keeping them away from extremes of temp and humidity is crucial to keep them working well.. and also store them safe... as in somewhere that doesn't block a fire exit, a bedroom etc and where a fire would not spread easy. Some of those devices store a lot of energy... always best to treat them with care and place them somewhere sensible.
